Good point. The CPU were weak in comparison.. Problem is the developers back then had partied through the 90s..they were on a different level.. Today it's all analogy fluff

The micron has the better firmware tbh.. But the Ion has all the knobs..

I used to gig with a micron and it was a monster.. Will freak out the guitarist and make the bass player sweat it! Probably the best VA engine ever made.. Makes the virus some thin.. And only the waldrorfs can beat it with their wavetables meat

Nice to see the Oxi here Joey! Helluva of seq, 2 years almost for me now, and ditched pretty much all other sequencers I had. This is my studio, live improv, whatever go to sequencer.

I had a Peak and never really clicked with it... but seeing you use it for more industrial techno makes me wish I hadn't sold it. Big fan of Phase Fatale and can see using the Peak to make big distorted basses and glitchy SFX noise in tracks like his.

What synth are you referring to when you say Vick? I’m not familiar but it sounds awesome. I’d like to look into it.

Happy to see the Oxi One on the channel. It's been my go-to sequencer since I first received mine from the Kickstarter. Truly inspirational device, well-built, super portable, satisfying and capable.

I think some of you in the comment section have to know that this machine is indeed a legend within the french free party culture and tribe music scene idk about other genres or cultures I think they have a lot of different machines but in France, if you see people playing tribe live acts, this one and the ESX are THE classic machines you'll see half of the time, there is some kind of cult around it

Dear Joey. For me OXI one is just great, especially with the 8CV/Gate breakout box and all the MIDI features. And what I like the most is that OXI has a forum and a Discord server where they talk to and listen to the community to constantly make improvements with firmware upgrades. And they make updates quite often. It's the brains of my modular setup. It even looks cool.

Great demo, as always Joey..Seems great for real time interaction too..
